How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Silk Security for admins

The Okta/Silk Security SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. In Okta Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications and click Browse App Catalog and Add the Silk Security integration.

  2. Select the Silk Security SAML app from catalog, go to Sign on methods > SAML 2.0 > Metadata details, and hit the More details to expand and find the required information.

  3. Select the Region you are using, eu1 or us1, then hit Done

  4. Once you finish installing the app, Select the Sign On tab for the Silk Security SAML app, go to Sign on methods > SAML 2.0 > Metadata details, and hit the More details to expand and find the required information.

  5. Sign in to Silk Security.

  6. Go to Settings > Org Settings > SSO.

  7. Enter the following:

    • SSO Domain Names: Enter your company email domain(s)

    • SSO Endpoint URL: Paste the Sign on URL value

    • Issuer: Paste the Issuer value

    • x509 Certificate: Paste the Signing Certificate value

      Make sure to hit the Copy button to copy the certificate as text
    • Click Save Changes

  8. Done!
